Prescott Valley offers has more than 200 acres of parklands and open space, including 10 parks, an outdoor public swimming pool and 20 multi-purpose athletic fields. The town's newest park, Fain Park, contains over 100 acres of historical, cultural, and recreational activities. Fain Park offers a lake for fishing or swimming, scenic trails, and picnicking grounds. Prescott National Forest surrounds Prescott Valley and includes the Mingus Mountain range and the Bradshaw Mountains with trails for day hikers, backpackers, and mountain bikers, plus several established campgrounds. Lynx Lake offers boat rentals, fishing, beautiful trails, a full service picnic area, general store, and camping.
