Humboldt Unified School District
Humboldt Unified School District is responsible for all K-12 education and is one of Prescott Valley's leading employers with over 600 teachers and staff.

Yavapai College (Prescott Valley Campus) 
The main campus is located in Prescott, with satellite campuses in Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and the Verde Valley. The college offers Associate Degrees, University Transfer, Professional and Technical Programs, Senior Citizen Programs, and Professional Development with more than 75 areas of study.

 
Prescott College
This is a private college for the study of Liberal Arts and the Environment offering undergraduate and graduate degrees through a Resident Degree Program, an Adult Degree Program, and a Native American Program that integrates language and culture into a field of study.

 
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University
ERAU is the world's largest university specializing in Aviation and Aerospace Education. Over 1,500 students at the Prescott campus seek Bachelor's Degrees in areas that include aeronautical science (flight); aerospace, electrical and computer engineering; computer science; aerospace studies; and science, technology and globalization, an interdisciplinary major for the global work environment.

 
Northern Arizona University Yavapai Extension 
Bachelors and Masters Degrees are offered locally in partnership with Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff).
Northcentral University
A regionally accredited distance-learning institution, offers bachelor's, master’s and doctoral degree programs in business, education and psychology designed specifically to meet the needs of career-minded adults. What makes NCU unique is that there are absolutely no campus residency or on-site requirements. NCU's totally online distance-learning approach allows learning to take place anytime, at any place, with all coursework done completely through the Internet.
 

Mountain Institute - Yavapai County's Joint Technical Education District

Mountain Institute offers career path programs in Career and Technical Education (CTE) to students while they concurrently attend their home high school for graduation. Over 1,500 students enrolled in year one from Ash Fork, Bagdad, Chino Valley, Humboldt, Mayer, Prescott, and Seligman school districts. A number of MI students are also participating in courses through Yavapai College.

For the 2010-11 year, over 2800 students pre-enrolled for JTED classes.  Students are taking courses in Transportation Technologies, Construction Technologies, Culinary Arts, Agriculture, Nursing Services, Audio Visual, Business Management, Information Technologies, Drafting, Welding Technologies, and Education Professions.
